At the JVP Head Office this morning (05), Swiss Ambassador Siri Walta and JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva met.
It was discussed at length the current social and political situation in the country, the Clean Sri Lanka program and the new economic reforms that will be introduced in the upcoming budget. The discussion focused primarily on national reconciliation, human rights protection, and strengthening the rule of law.
On this occasion, the First Secretary of the Swiss Embassy, Mrs Justine Boillat, and the Political Section Officer, Mr Kanishka Ratnapriya, were also present. The JVP was represented by lawyer Madhu Kalpana, a member of the International Division of the party.
