The Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo Gonzalez Garrida, arrived at the JVP headquarters this morning (28th) and met with the General Secretary, Tilvin Silva.
Maribel Duarte Gonzalez, the wife of the Cuban Ambassador, was also present at this event. The JVP’s General Secretary, Tilvin Silva, was accompanied by Kalpana Madhu Bhashini, a member of its International Relations Committee.
A discussion was held regarding the current program implemented by the National People’s Power government and the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ program. There was also discussion between the two parties regarding regional and international politics.
