How NPP is going to solve the ethnic crisis?

NPP will propose a new constitution for which the national consensus is obtained. Though the 13th amendment is embodied in the 1978 constitution, it has not been able to find a lasting solution. Therefore, NPP strives to create a conducive environment for all nationalities to enjoy their fundamental rights and to live with pride. Regards

The education policy needs to clearly state the NPP take on teacher education. One of the main problems we see in the field is substandard teachers appointed to schools where they cannot uphold even the existing reforms. I think it is a must at least to have an MSc in education to appoint teachers.

Thank you for your inquiry. Academic qualifications are only one requirement whereas teaching is a professional job for which delivery skills are very important. Under an NPP government, no teacher is sent to a classroom without minimum one year training despite academic qualifications. Teachers should have continuous capacity building programmes and every five years they need to renew their teaching licenses. NPP education policy is designed to impart knowledge and skills to children while improving their positive attitudes. Regards
