We regret to inform you that according to the Sri Lankan election laws, there is no way you can vote unless you are physically present at the polling station within the Sri Lankan geographical area. Under your government, how are foreign country ambassadors and staff selected, and how is their accommodation provided? For example, in Japan, ambassadors and staff often live in expensive apartments in the middle of Tokyo. I want to know how your government prevents excessive spending in such cases.

Thank you for your inquiry. The diplomatic staff and the ambassadors will be appointed on merit basis and no political appointees will be posted any mission abroad. The expenses will be rationalized as per the conditions. Thank you
